Privacy policy
iDesign Workspace is a collaborative documents, presentations, and spreadsheets product operated by iDesign of Larchmont, New York. This page describes what we collect when you use it, why, and what we do and do not do with it.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address and the display name you choose. If you use a guest link without an account, we create a temporary anonymous session instead.
- Your content. The documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and images you create or upload. That is the product; storing it is the point.
- Technical records. Standard server and security logs generated by our infrastructure providers, such as request logs and error reports, used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
To provide the service: storing and syncing your documents, showing collaborators who is present, and sending the emails the product itself needs, such as password resets, email confirmation, and invitation notices you trigger by inviting someone. We do not use your content for anything else.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not run third party analytics or tracking on Workspace pages. We do not read your documents except where strictly necessary to operate the service or as required by law.
Sharing works the way you set it
Documents are private to you until you share them. If you invite someone by email, they get the role you chose. If you turn on link access, anyone with the link gets the level you chose, which can include people you did not individually invite. You control these settings per document and can change or revoke them at any time.
Where your data lives
Your account and content are stored with Supabase in the United States. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Invitation emails are delivered through Resend. Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.
Cookies and local storage
Workspace keeps your sign in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. There are no advertising or cross site tracking cookies.
Retention and deletion
You can delete any document you own at any time. Deleted documents sit in your trash for 30 days, then are permanently removed along with their images. To delete your account and all of its content, contact us using the details below and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and note the change on this page.
